A tour of the window
Mecmua’s window has two parts: the sidebar on the left, and the page you are working on.
#The sidebar
The sidebar is the list of everything in your workspace. From top to bottom:
- Your workspace’s name. Click it for a menu with your workspaces and Settings.
- Search, to find any page by its words. See Search.
- Your pages. Click a name to open it. A small arrow beside a name opens the pages inside it.
- Trash and Extensions, at the foot.
Need more room? Hide the sidebar with Ctrl + \ (⌘ + \ on a Mac), and bring it back the same way.
#Tabs
Like a web browser, Mecmua can keep several pages open in tabs along the top. Ctrl + T (⌘ + T on a Mac) opens a new tab and Ctrl + W (⌘ + W on a Mac) closes the one you are in. You can also put pages side by side, to keep a lesson open next to your notes.
#Settings
Click your workspace’s name at the top of the sidebar and choose Settings. There you choose a theme (light, dark and several others), fonts, the language of the app, and more.
